Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock, Quad-Cities Style

Sweatstock Music Festival – two days, two stages, over 100 local musicians, featuring tributes to key Woodstock performances, as well as local original music.

The All Sweat Productions group has been putting on tributes to bands and re-enacting albums from the past since 2016. Past shows include tributes to The Beatles’ “Abbey Road”, Prince’s “Purple Rain”, and The Band’s “Last Waltz”. Their goal has been to grow the local music community while bringing musicians together over a shared passion. And then along came Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary.

Obviously, to take on the entire Woodstock concert would be outrageous. The All Sweat crew, along with partners Hive Event Consulting and Murphy Park Events, as well as over 100 (yes, that is ONE HUNDRED) local musicians have come up with a solid solution. Sweatstock features key Woodstock band tribute sets. These will alternate with local original music bands on a second stage.

“From the collaboration of local musicians, to the production of the festival by Quad Citizens, Sweatstock is a special event for our community,“ said Kate Dale, Hive Event Consulting. “It’s been amazing to see the transformation happening in East Moline and we are looking forward to putting on a signature event that contributes to our region’s growth and celebrates the talent that exists in the Quad Cities.”
